It's the time for PART #2 of my series of PRINTABLE CHRISTMAS FREEBIES. (Don't forget to check out PART #1 here and stay tuned for PART #3 next week!).

I like this one so much! It's A SET OF 4 PRINTABLE MINI GIFT BOXES, in the classic white+red candycane palette.

And the best part is that we have a special guest with us today to share a great idea on how to fill these boxes: she's Anemone from Anemone's Corner, the famous Italian cooking blog. It's such a pleasure to team up with her again!

This time Anemone's recipe is for these tiny, yummy ALMONDS AND COCOA MERINGUES, perfect also as last minute Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers or in this case great to fill our mini boxes.

HOW TO "BUILD" THE MINI GIFT BOXES:

You don't need glue nor any special tool or skill to make them from my FREE PRINTABLE SHEETS. Just print on medium weight cardstock (or heavy paper) and have at hand:

Scissors and cutter
Hole Punch
Cute ribbons or twine

That's all!

At this point there's not much time left before Christmas so I wanted to keep it as easy as possible.

Just cut out the box shape, cut a slit along the thin continued lines, fold along the thin dashed lines, punch the 4 holes, and finally close your box ovelapping the flaps and sliding them into the slit.
Believe me: easier to make than to explain! It will take you around 5 minutes.

Then the finishing touches: insert a cute ribbon or twine through the holes you punched to secure the box closed and finally you can add the matching round tags I've prepared.

The patterns available are polka dots, stripes, vichy and white with red ribbon. They look great together and you could even think of using them for your Christmas dinner favors or to decorate your Christmas tree!
