Hello friends!
Today I'm happy to introduce the shiny new set of PRINTABLE CHRISTMAS FREEBIES I've prepared just for you! We will have a suite in 3 PARTS dedicated to your 2011 HOLIDAY GIFT WRAPPING.
The inspiration and the color palette is GLOSSY CANDYCANE WHITE+RED (but I'd be very curious to see what happens when printing on distressed or vintage or kraft paper... I'm sure the effect would be very interesting...) and I hope that you will find a different idea for your gift wrapping in each of the "episodes" of this series of freebies: they will allow you to create and personalize packages of different shapes and styles. You'll see that the palette and the patterns (chevron, polka dots, vichy squares, stripes...) are versatile enough to mix 'n match with each other and with different accessories.
Let's start!

Some of you will probably remember the lavender wrapping bands created for Anemone's biscuits. That free printable sheet has been very successful among my readers and fellow bloggers and some of you friends sent in requests for a Christmas themed version so... Here it is!

In this free downloadable sheet you will find 7 different but coordinated bands (stripes, polka dots, candycanes pattern, diagonal stripes, vichy, chevron, "Christmas in the world") to use for your holiday wrapping. Print, cut and just personalize it with the name of the recipient or your holiday wishes in the blank space, then wrap them around your gift packages. They will work great around any regularly shaped small package and will make a nice effect on white or red or black o green or gray (wow!) wrapping paper. I also think they will look very well with kraft paper and I'd love to see the effect when used with newspaper sheets as wrapping... The combinations you can try are indeed many and needless to say I'm very curious to see them!

As you can see in my photos, these wrapping bands can be used also around glass jars full of mints, Christmas candies, cookies, homemade jam or any last minute little gift.
They are perfect also to create placecards for your holiday table: just wrap them around the napkins and personalize each one with the name of your guests...
