A few weeks ago I've spent a gorgeous crisp sunny sunday morning in an incredible apple orchard. No, we were not fruitpicking, but at the BonBon Studio autumn shooting.

I've had the honor of creating the stationery for this project, you can see it pictured.

With the words of the BonBon girls themselves, here's the inspiration:
"Abbiamo voluto ricreare un romantico e caldo pranzo di matrimonio per due, a base di frutta e formaggi, e volevamo usare dei colori non scontati e una palette autunnale un po? alternativa al solito rosso e arancio. Abbiamo quindi scelto una tonalità di giallo tendente al mostarda e un prugna intenso. Qualcosa di alternativo anche alle tonalità pastello a cui siamo più abituate!

We wanted to create a cozy and romantic lunch wedding for two, with fruit and cheese as the main courses, and we wanted to use colors that were unexpected, in an autumn palette that went beyond the usual red-orange combo. So we chose a warm mustard yellow and a deep plum purple. Something different from the pastel palettes we are more used to!"

Basing on this idea and on the plum + mustard palette (currently one of my favorite color combinations for autumn!) and on the country setting of the shooting, I've proposed a mini-suite with strong color blocks mixed with a woodgrain motive I've created and I've used a romantic calligraphic font to contrast with a clean modern one.

Besides wedding and reception invitation, I've prepared also the menu for the yummy cheese and fruit buffet, mini-flags with monograms, cut out hearts, the names of the cheeses, labels for the wedding favors, pear jam jars.

I'm happy with the result and so very proud I've contributed to this event! Before leaving you with some gorgeous images of the shooting, let me tell you once more the BonBon Studio team just ROCKS! The classic wedding cake was replaced by a cake/tower made of cheeses.

A special "wow" goes to the flower decor by Sofia of Il Profumo dei Fiori. Yellow, white, plum, purple hues were fantastically mixed with the colors and perfumes of cheeses and fruits. Sofia also prepared the pretty bouquet and the matching bouttoniere.

Loved all the cozy woolen details and DIY ideas...
