Hello!

I don't know there but here is a rather foggy morning, the air is still and cold and any color seems muted outside of my window... So I'm particularly happy to show you the images of this photoshooting, styled by the dear Jessica from Uhlala blog (if you don't know her yet, run on her blog to say hello and happy birthday: it's today!) and photographed by Federica Cavicchi.

It reminds me of summer!

After our first cooperation (do you remember the ice cream patrty?) Jessica asked me to create the stationery for this new photoshooting last summer. To be honest when she mentioned "seventies" and "hippie" in the first inspiration brief I was kind of worried because that's not a decade I feel particularly connected to in terms of fashion, style, design. But then I realized what she had in mind was more a boho-chic laid back flair which on the contrary I love!

Just like I love the palette of colors, flavors, textures in this project: rosemary and pomegranade, chocolate and copper, burlap and grass, on a sunny late-summer afternoon in the hills.

As you can see I chose pomegranate and rosemary as decor motive for the invitation and added my current favorite calligraphy typefaces and a swirly frame, all on a slightly textured heavy luxurious cream paper and in an unusual horizontal format. This mini-suite also included tags for the buffet and custom packaging for the sparklers fireworks that the girls lite up at night.

I leave you with some images of the actual photoshooting. I find Jessica did a great job with the dessart table styling, the models Alice, Caterina, Giulia e Martina are drop dead gorgeous and I really like the warm light of Federica's images and how she captured the little details (should youm want to get in touch with her, here's her email: vicibella@hotmail.it).
