I had Instagram installed on my iPhone and I even had an account created but I didn't really use it nor understand it until a party with the BonBon girls. Then came few weeks of OBSESSION.

Now I'm still in love with it and although I'm not an expert I've discovered a few things that might be useful for a newbie, wanna hear? Today I'll share my favorite apps to use together to IG. My next few posts will be about: tricks for tagging and more, games, contests, challenges, noteworthy photostreams to follow.

1. USEFUL APPS
To get the most out of IG you might want to use other apps in parallel to enhance or embellish your photos.

It's not the most popular but still my favorite for photoediting is Picture Show: many filters and more important the possibility of adjusting several settings manually. Plus it's easy to use and not overpriced. Recommended.



When you first land on planet IG you will ask yourself and others how to create those pretty mosaics of photos and ho to add text on them. For photo mosaics my favorite app is PicFrame as it does exactly what it's supposed to do.



Adding text: you can use Phonto and you'll find there a quite good library of fonts but if you like a pretty "label" effect try LabelBox: stamp, doily, ribbon, tartan, polka dots and many more.



Finally, a real treat for masking tape addicts like me: the app is called just Masking Tape and offers endless combinations of motives and colors. The only problem is that you will not be able to choose nor to stop testing combinations!



Ah, the following is not an app but still good to know: http://web.stagram.com is a web intrface that will allow you to experince IG on pc.
