TrendiBirthday - My present

Hello!
Are you ready to see gorgeous pictures from some of the events created by the BonBon Studio Team in the last months? I've contributed to some of them taking care of the stationery design, so - even if with some delay - I'm looking forward to show you everything from my point of view!

Let me start with a party I've had the pleasure to attend just as a guest at the end of the summer: Laura's birthday.

Vintage hankerchiefs, doilies garlands, handmade paper flowers, little candles and tiny lights, good simple food and an amazing dessert table, a "folk-bohemian" style with gipsy accents and - most important - a warm athmosphere of friendship and love, a sense of family and joy and simplicity and fun... I'm so happy I was there!

I only had my iPhone with me so the pictures are terrible, I just wanted to share to give you some "candid" snapshots of that night. BUT if you've not seen them already you can find the really professional pictures - beautiful! - on the blogs on TrendiNozze (Laura), Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (Gaia), Sweet as a Candy (Federica), Almalu's Place (Alessandra). (Btw Ale, Gaia e Federica are pictured here above).

And absolutely you cannot miss the detail photos of these biscuits: I think I've rarely seen anything similar more esquisitely made. They are a creation by Michela from Basta un Poco di Zucchero and on her blog you can read the full story. Inspired by vintage hankerchiefs decor and interely handpainted, Laura styled and servedn them in a old drawer painted red (the right place for an hankerchief, where else?).

My present? I've tried to think of a little something Laura could really like and I hope I made it!

Knowing she admires Martha Stewart and - obviously - how much passion and love she puts in her wedding planning business I choose this book: The Weddings (Best of Martha Stewart Living).

Before packaging it, I've had a peek inside and it really looks full to the brim of gorgeousness and inspiration!

And I've decided to do something special and personal to package my gift: a very very exclusive TrenDiNozze macro tote bag! Some patience to re-create Laura's logo (I couldn't ask her or I would have spoiled the surprise), a blank canvas bag, my printer, iron on transfer paper, ironing board and... done!

I really hope Laura will use the bag to carry mason jars, doilies, paper garlands, barn wood, tissue pompom and all the magic she brings to each event she takes care of... In any case it looks great on her isn't it?
