Home office ideas/2: store, organize, display
By Suze on Sep 20, 2011 | In About Me, Home Decor, The Blue House
Good morning!
Here I am again to share some ideas for the new studio space.
As you might remember I'm kind of obsessd with apothecary cabinets and in general any furniture piece that has a lot (a lot!) of tiny drawers or small shelves like these:

(Is there anything not to love in the Pottery Barn catalogue AT ALL?! *Sigh*)

I already have a super cute and very handy vintage post office cabinet (thrifted) that you can see here (just ideal to store and keep organized paper supplies and documents) so in terms of storage and display for little objects I'll mostly need just something with little shelves to hang to the wall. (And also shelves for books, but that's another story...)
I love the "open" solutions like the ones above, solutions that allow you to display office items and crafty supplies, don't you? My only problem is that unfortunately I have to admit the space where I work daily tends to get chaotic and clutterd with stuff in no time! So I need some kind of container, box, crate to at least try to hide my mess until the next tidy up. :)
What about mason jars for the smallest supplies and trinkets?

Or there's always the good old Ikea or Ikea-like cardboard boxes (I'm using quite a few of them already), the important thing is they're all in the same color or color combination... :)

If you have any brillant storage/display idea or a recommended destination (in Italy or online) to shop at for this type of things, I'd love to hear! (You can check out some of mine directly from my home office right here).
