Our new home: BEFORE and AFTER (almost there!)

Hello everybody!

How are you? How was your weekend? Anything fun to report? Wish you a beautiful new week! Autumn definitely arrived to Italy... I know everybody is saying the same in these days, but can you believe it's October already?!

Since few months passed (so fast!) I thought you might want to have a peek to the progress of our blue home... What's the status? Well, ALMOST FINISHED, really! We'll be packing our stuff for the move soon (although still as you can see there's no furniture at all. Crossing fingers we should receive the very essentials on time... Or we'll sleep on the floor I guess...). :)

There's still some minor things to fix in the house and I admit there's some details that are not exactly what I wanted for a series of reasons (ah, perfectionism...), nevertheless I'm really happy about the result: I specially love the combination of very light colors for almost all the materials (boy, do I adore that wooden floor...), the doors are beautiful (although I don't like the doorknobs...), the stairs are so pretty in my humble opinion...

I know the photos are quite terrible, I promise to share decent ones when all will be tidied up, but I'd love to hear what's your first feelings... "Before" is june, "after" is october. (Too much neutrals perhaps? Too "cold"? That's my concern: this house is completely new, while I tend to prefer houses that have some history behind... Although once it will be filled with our stuff (and with ourselves!) I think we'll be just fine there!)

cara, la casa e bellissima! troppo bella!! i LOVE the stairs. they truly came out very very good. and the main bedroom is stunning, too. it doesn't look like any italian house i've seen before and you know i've seen many :-) it's very modern and chic! good job girl! i'm curious how it'll look with furniture!

Fantastic effort, you have really transformed the place. I like the toilet and bidet.. Where are they from? I really like the contrast between the floor and the wall tiles in your bathroom and the fact you have chosen a concelaed cistern in your bathroom to create a more minimal look... excellent
