* Alphabet Walk: looking for "S" in an antique Castle *

Hello and a warm warm welcome to any fellow Alphabet Walker coming over from One Sydney Road!

Come with me to continue the walk with the letter "S"... As in a fairytale, our walk today brings us to this antique Italian castle.

Once upon a time...

The Castle also hosts a permanent exhibition about ancient craftmanship and everyday life in centuries. There you could see:

So happy you like this! It was indeed a nice day at the castle: both Filippo and I went there as kids (it's one of the classic "school trips" here...) and never again since like 25 years and we wanted to go back. It has been in our list of planned weekend trips for months and last Sunday, we decided to go, hoping to find at least a slightly more acceptable temperature since it's quite high altitude. Well, we were disappointed from that point of view: just few degrees less and still crazy HOT, but the castle is indeed magic! I already planned to bring my camera for the Walk: this little assignement made the tour even more fun! Thanks Piper!

@Katia: WHAT IS THE ALPHABET WALK BLOG HOP?
"you’ll choose a letter of the alphabet, grab your walking shoes and camera, and find a spot where you want to take pictures of things that represent the letter you chose. (ex: “a” could be an apple or abstract or even the letter “a”). then on your designated day, you’ll post the picture (or pictures if you want!) of your letter on your blog. then we’ll spend the week “hopping” around to see everyone’s interpretation of the alphabet!"
