Hello friends!
How did this week start for you? Let's add to it something that will bring some more beauty, shall we? This week's little "undiscovered" boutique is Flowing Moments, just opened by my french blog friend Nathalie who kindly accepted to be my guest today! Nathalie will tell (and show!) us about how she got started with her store, about her inspiration and creative process and will take us behind the scenes of her photography.

The image above is called Plaisir d'offrir and it's probably my favorite in Nathalie's shop. But it's hard to choose and I also love what I call her "doors&windows" series.

Don't they make you feel summer closer? With a warm and slightly melancholic mediterranean flair... Run to Flowing Moments store to see these photos and many more in bigger! And note that there's a special opening promotion going on: get 1 free print of your choice if you're among the first 10 customers. So be quick! :)
But before... Welcome to Daily Suze, Nathalie, tell us more about you!

Hello, thank you so much Suze for inviting me and featuring the opening of my new Esty boutique on your blog. I am Nathalie, I am French and I have created the photography blog flowing moments. Photography is my passion and in March, I have opened an Etsy boutique: flowingmoments.etsy.com to share and sell my work.

I also enjoy taking my time to really see, to immerse myself in a particular environment, situation and play. Playing with the light, playing with what I photograph... sometimes, it is like a dance!
Creative process

My creative life wants more space, time, so in order to achieve this, I get organised. This is crucial for me, to get everything in order (the house, my work environment), in order to feel free, free to go out and wander and shoot or reading or seeing some exhibitions, etc.
I have been extremely busy since January with my work, my blog, attending an amazing e-course Blogging your way and attending family issues. Everything got on top of me. So April has been about getting organised again, clearing out, purifying. I do that quite regularly and I missed it. Once I know everything is in order, at its right place, then I can breathe, I feel light, my head is clear, open to embrace my creative life!
Inspiration

The sea, nature, the light in the early morning or "l'heure magique" in the evening before the sun goes down.
Books : journals, self-help, poetry, travel, photography ...
Other photographers inspire me, pushing me to open my vision, my heart, to tell a different story, to find my voice. I enjoy the work of Susannah Conway, Sophie Pawlack, Hitoshi Ishihara and so many more whom I will be featuring in my blog very soon! Flickr is such a great source of inspiration too.
There is so much talented people in the world, I am so grateful to see so much beauty!
Goals
My goals are to have more time to create, think about my art, shoot more photos, expand my vision, my skill, share... Although March has been a difficult and very sad month for me, I have opened my Esty shop. This was what I planned and I did it. Sticking to my plans, baring in mind the "ship-day" help me being accountable and progress. As a result, I feel empowered because I have achieved what I set myself to do ...Intention to manifestation! Last year, same time, I was a full time "procrastinator" so now when I tell myself : "I have opened a little boutique", this is so exciting and I am so proud... a step towards my dreams!!!
Regarding the content of Etsy, I am planning to add more photos in black and white, photos with inspirational words (both in French and English) and more flowers! I am also enquiring about making postcards, bookmarks and calendars or notebooks as I think they are beautiful support to share your art.
Projects

I have many projects:
Post more often on my blog, highlighting the work of other photographers or creative people I appreciate. When I started blogging, I felt a bit shy ..... 5 months later, I feel I want to open up and this means sharing the work of other artists, people I find inspiring!
At the moment, I am working on 2 photography competitions, one on the subject of Nature in the city and the other about featuring a wine and cultural centre near Bordeaux, both must be completed mid June. Exhibitions of my work in Bordeaux are also in the plans for this year.
And to finish, I would love to travel for the sole purpose of taking photographs: Egypt, Morocco, Greece, Turkey.... visiting Stockholm, Copenhagen also and so many other lovely places!!!
... I am tending and working on my dreams!
Nathalie, thanks so much for being with us today and for letting us peek into your creative life and dreams. Pursue our dreams, one step a time, is a lesson nobody should ever forget!
Congratulations and I wish you all the best for your shop and your projects!
