Hello! Here I am again with a Chic For Cheap post. (The flickr group is here!). Spring seems still far far away, but I thought I'd put something together for a "gardening-chic" style.

Inspiration comes a little bit from Andie MacDowell in Green Card movie and her fabulous roof-top urban garden (she's one of my favorite style icons, specially in that movie...) and in part from the following thought: "Ok, Hunter boots, so much on fashion also in Italy, are definitely cool but do I really want to invest the equivalent of approx $100  in a pair of RUBBER BOOTS? Being realistic, in how many cases they will be my first choice for an outfit?". Still I like the idea, and I know for sure you can find rubber boots in many hardware or gardening/fishing/hunting supplies stores!
