Melissa and Ez, two of my favorite bloggers, have started a flicker group dedicated to "Chic for Cheap" outfit ideas (right here!).

How could I refuse the invite? :) So here is my first Chic for Cheap post!

Actually I'm not sure this is following the rules, because it does contain a definitely expensive item, but let me explain. I got the Ugg boots as Christmas present from my mum and I love them! They're amazingly comfortable, warm and fun, a great find... My problem is: I do like flat shoes, but I find heels suit me better and I'm used to wear them, at least few centimeters, so I'm a little bit in trouble about how to make the most out of my fabulous Uggs and always looking for something (not boring) that might go well with them... Here below a very affordable idea of a casual outfit to match them (click for bigger): 

I tried a couple of times a combination very very similar to this and it's quite nice, specially if it's snowing (like lately has been around here)... The cotton lace skirt would be of course more appropriate for summer, I know - but I have a penchant on this type of contrasts and you can always solve by wearing warm tights, no? :D
