Beautiful Today: Gifts (I gave) and packaging

In the last days I've been working on changing my blog skin and on my little secret project :) and to be honest I've been completely relaxing and enjoying life and holidays, so I have a couple of posts pending from Christmas days... I'll share them anyway now before getting back to a regular and new schedule for my posts.
So here's the first Christmas post: it's about the gifts I gave to family and friends. (Part 2, about the lovely gifts I received will follow).

As you might remember I planned to buy the majority of my presents in London, and that's what I've done. Here above my treasure chest. Some highlights (from London or not):
- many silly things for my friends from Urban Outfitters: great value for unusual objects like a handheld sewing machine, metal initials, lovely headbands, cute mugs, tree shaped jewellery stand, and more... I have to admit that I bough two pieces of some of these objects, one to give and one to keep! Which is not unusual at all for me!;
- wooden building blocks for my boyfriend's nephew from Harrods;
- a little gift for a friend from Satya Jewellery;
- false lashes for all my girlfriends (from Boots);
- necklace and coordinated earrings my mum was drooling over at Dana Niv shop. She loved them! You can see the elegant black boxes Dana's jewels come in here above. Have you checked out her shop lately? It's so beautiful! (My first review here).
- two weekend vouchers packs (like Smartbox) - personally I think this is one of the best gifts one can make or receive;
- another one I'm pretty proud of: tickets for Beauty And The Beast musical in Milan for my family, to go all together and spend a nice night out.
- To complement the presents for some of my closest friends, I also gave them one of these cloths I printed just for them. I've added myself the hearts motive to Lotta's stencils (see here).

And here's how I packged my gifts. Unfortunately in the end I didn't have much time to wrap everything, so nothing special, but I'm quite happy of the effect. The golden bells were so cute (my idea)! The super-high-quality golden polka dots paper is from Harrods. The twine and the tags are from the beautiful Nice PackageTotal Package Kit, my friend Vitto gave me the cute Cath Kidston stamp stickers I used on some packages. The names and letters on the tags and the round stickers were printed with Muji alphabet rubber stamps (be careful, the ink tends to stain hand and whatever you're printing...)

Hope you liked this late Christmas post!
