To celebrate the fact that I am in London, I want to show you another of my favorite sites. It's an amazing street art/photography project called Little People - A tiny street art project.

See below some examples of this surprising and original art.

Here's what Slinkachu, the artist, says:

My 'Little People Project' started in 2006. It involves the remodelling and painting of miniature model train set characters, which I then place and leave on the street. It is both a street art installation project and a photography project. The street-based side of my work plays with the notion of surprise and I aim to encourage city-dwellers to be more aware of their surroundings. The scenes I set up, more evident through the photography, and the titles I give these scenes aim to reflect the loneliness and melancholy of living in a big city, almost being lost and overwhelmed. But underneath this, there is always some humour. I want people to be able to empathise with the tiny people in my works.

Aren't these little people absolutely brilliant? (Look closely to see them in real size!). I'm sure the concept is clear and all you have to do is going on Little People blog to see them all! Some are just hilarious, some are slightly disturbing, the best ones are hilarious AND disturbing at the same time!

This is my first time i visit here. I found so many interesting stuff in your blog, especially its discussion. From the tons of comments on your articles, I guess I am not the only one having all the enjoyment here! Keep up the excellent work.
