Welcome to my blog!

I'm totally new at this and the idea is very basic: I want to publish everyday something I like, something that impressed me, something beautiful or fun or curious. Hope you'll enjoy too!

Flickr photos collages:

I follow these criteria:

- I choose Creative Commons licensed images as much as possible.

- When I simply can't help loving a photo so much that I want to include it even if the photographer has left the default copyright setting on flickr, I check their profile info and if he or she is not explicitely forbidding to blog their images, I include it anyway with the following reasoning:

- I have no commercial purpose at all, not even adverts on my blog

- I'm not using the image to illustrate something else, I'm just showcasing it in itself

- I'm crediting the author with direct link to flickr source and I'm clearly not pretending I'm the author

- I'm reproducing the image in small format, not as big as the original

- I'm adding a disclaimer addressing photo's authors and in case there was something wrong in what I do, they can get in touch for immediate removal to blogsuze@gmail.com

In my honest idea being included in the many flickr favorites collages or mosaics on blogs out there is just a form of review and praise and an additional opportunity of visibility for the work artists decided to show publicly (personally I'd only feel honored if it was about one of my images...). But I would hate to offend anybody, and specially an artist I admire...
